Data Analyst
My rendezvous with Data Science was during my Bachelor’s program in Computer Engineering. It was love at first sight and I was quick to realize Data Analysis is the one for me in my professional journey. Since high school, I have been fond of explaining complex concepts using different diagrams and visualizations – a quality I attribute to my mother who is an excellent teacher by profession. With my mind set on Data Analysis, I decided to dig deeper into the field. This led to my pursuit of a Master’s degree in Information Management with a specialization in Data Analytics at Syracuse University. I had an opportunity to leverage my analytical skills during my internships at UPS where I worked with the team to model the data such that it would help cut down the procurement cost.
My interest and curiosity with my determination to work hard were awarded when my analytics professor offered me to work with her. My strongest technical/functional skills include Tableau, Excel, Python, Jira and Bitbucket. I can easily help clients take effective decisions to grow their businesses or make the processes efficient based on data. The best part is creating effective visualization that would present KPIs most effectively.
